In 2018, Noon By Noor introduced Noon By Noor Mini, an indulgent spin off, which captures innocence, and undeniable charm in luxuriously playful silhouettes.
Razan Al-Sous and her husband Raghid Sandouk fled Syria to start a new life in Yorkshire, leaving behind their dream of setting up their own pharmaceutical company but opening up a new entrepreneurial life in the city of Huddersfield.
With the simple idea of making halloumi-style cheese from cows’ milk and launching a best-selling range of Arabian flavoured cheeses, the innovative pair have won more than 30 awards for their product and gained royal approval from Princess Anne.
When they arrived in Yorkshire, Mr Sandouk’s brother let them run his chicken food outlet and it was there the first Yorkshire Dama Squeaky Cheese was created.
Now they have nine flavours in their range, from plain and chilli to black onion seed, rosemary and mint.
The couple recently won their latest award, for their black pepper squeaky cheese.
n 2017 the couple expanded to new premises and were given a royal seal of approval when Princess Anne officially opened their factory in Sowerby Bridge.
Now the couple have been invited to Buckingham Palace.
This month they won yet another award for their Middle Eastern style cheese, Nabulsi, which contains black onion seeds and has now become a bestseller in the UK.
Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Ali Construction & Development (AACD)has marked the handing over of the $81.6m (AED300m), 39,625m2 Hampton by Hilton Hotel at the Al Marjan Island.
With the handover milestone, the project has become the largest Hampton by Hilton in the world to date.
The 515-keys beach hotel has been engineered by JT+Partners, with International Engineering Center as the supervision consultant, and developed by Mohamed Ruqait Properties (MR Properties).
The tower level comprises 515 rooms and suites, while the wide rooftop consists three chiller zones and two fire exits. The hotel will also feature 450m of a private white sand beach, a 1,000m2 pool, other recreational facilities and an observation deck.

Manama, the island kingdom’s capital, has been labeled a “Healthy City 2021” by the World Health Organization (WHO) — the first Middle East capital to earn the distinction — in recognition of its commitment to creating an environment conducive to human well-being.

With celebrity host Katie Jenson opening the evening and international boxer Amir Khan as celebrity guest, the awards ceremony on was attended by the who’s who of the industry and proved a great success in showcasing the best talents of the Middle East region’s supply chains.
The event was held at the Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre (The Great Ballroom) on July 12th.

The most influential tower built in Kuwait in the last decade, Al Hamra Business Tower was the proud winner of the ‘Audience Award’ for the 10 year category of 2011 projects completion by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH).
Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), Al Hamra Business Tower stands at 413 meters high across 80 levels, integrated with intelligent design, functionality a striking mix of iconic sculptural form and breathtaking office views overlooking the Gulf.

Previously, Al Hamra Business Tower was recognized by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) as the tallest building in Kuwait, 2nd tallest building, and tallest office building and tallest concrete structure in the Middle East. Internationally, the Tower was acclaimed for being 2nd tallest concrete structure in the world, 5th tallest office building in the world and 12th tallest building in the world in the year 2012.
Dr. Khalid Al-Nowaiser has been selected as a member of the International Court for Commercial Arbitration affiliated with the International Chamber of Commerce, and Hussam Al-Hujailan as his deputy.

‘Economy has priority in the next stage, and we must mobilise all our creative minds and our exceptional efforts to catapult Dubai’s economy to new heights,” said His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, during a meeting on Tuesday with the Board of Directors of Dubai Chambers after the major restructuring where His Highness formed three entities – Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy and Dubai Chamber of International Trade.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed recently approved the new Board of Directors of Dubai Chambers as part of efforts to enhance their contributions to Dubai’s economy, raise the level of support provided to emerging business sectors and accelerate Dubai’s innovation journey. The move is also part of efforts to catalyse Dubai’s economic transformation and further reinforce the city’s rise as a global business hub.
”Establishing a solid and prosperous economy is at the center of our priorities,” His Highness added.
