Hamad Port, of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Qatar – achieves yet another milestone as the ‘Deepest Artificial Port Basin created on Land’.
Hamad Port is the gateway to Qatar’s world trade. The Port’s basin is 4 km long, 700 m wide and 17 m deep.

‘The Saline Water Conversion Corporation’ owned by the Ministry of Water & Electricity, Saudi Arabia – holds the world record for Seawater Desalination.
Thus reinforcing the Kingdom’s position as a world leader in desalination development.
The Saline Water Conversion Corporation produces 5 million cubic meters of water a day. The confirmation certificate was issued by Guinness Book of World Records in February 2018.
